The ending of Divergent is left very much open for a sequel – which I believe Roth is currently writing, and I feel that the second book may actually be better than the first. There is a lot more Roth can do with this world and the people in it and I hope she manages to answer a lot of the questions that we, as readers, are left with after.   This first book in Veronica Roth's #1 New York Times bestselling Divergent series of books is the novel the inspired the major motion picture starring Shailene Woodley, Theo James, and Kate Winslet. This dystopian series set in a futuristic Chicago has captured the hearts of millions of teen and adult readers/5(K).
